What is Ream?
Ream is a subscription service that allows authors to share their work for free or for a fee. I use it so that I can make money as I write, but also so fans of my work can support me in small ways.
There are several options for supporters who wish to read my work:
- Followers – read select pieces and excerpts of my work for no cost.
- Spoonfuls – read more of my work for only $2.99 (U.S.) per month.
- Scoops – read all of my works in progress and currently published work as well as all my creative non-fiction and poetry for only $5 (U.S.) per month
- Banana Split – get the whole shebang! This includes everything in the first few tiers plus the completely edited and final copies of new works in ebook format for $10 (U.S.) per month. Of course, new edited work isn’t available each month but as long as you are a follower you’ll get updates (as long as you opt in to them) when new works are added, so you can subscribe that month and then go back to the previous tier you’re subscribed to.
Community
This is where I communicate with my readers. All you have to do is be a follower and you’ll get access to all my public posts. I post about what’s going on in my writing, my thought processes, what’s new and stuff like that.
You can comment, answer polls, and other fun stuff.
