People often ask me questions about blogging or writing. It makes sense. That’s what I do! I’ve been blogging and writing online for almost 10 years now so I’ve picked up a few things along the way. 🙂

So, here is where I can share some cool resources with you.

(and yes, some of the link below are affiliate links; that means if you click on them and then choose to buy something, I’ll make a commission. You don’t pay anything extra but those affiliate commissions help me make this blog profitable.)

PicMonkey

You might notice that many of the picture on this blog have words on them or other design elements. I use PicMonkey to do this. There are a lot of other programs you can use but I like PicMonkey the best. PicMonkey has a free version and a Royale version that gives you lots of extras to use on photos. I pay for the Royale version because it is totally worth it. Lots of fonts and nifty things you can do to make pictures on your blog unique and interesting.

DepositPhotos

I often use free pictures from Pixabay but I can’t always find what I want there. When I need something special I head over to DepositPhotos. They have an amazing selection and when you buy a photo license you can use the photo for a wide variety of things from blog posts to promotional photos to ebook covers.

NameCheap

This is where I buy all of my domains. I have been using them for 8 years and have never had any problems. As far as I know they haven’t had any security issues during this time, either. I trust them and many other webmasters do, too. You never have to worry that they are going to steal your domain (yes, that happens) and you can choose to auto-renew or get an email when your domain needs to be paid for again. It’s a great company with a great reputation.
