Candle Beach Pre-Launch Month

All the planning takes places this month!

With my new goal of writing with the purpose of creating work that I love , I am starting a new project. I want my writing to mean something to me and I believe this project will.

Candle Beach will be a series of short stories centered on three women. Bowie, Rio, and Carma, are very different women who are following different paths towards the same life goal. I don’t want to give away too much, but the whole point of these characters is that they are a combination of the women I know. So, they are real to me. And I hope they will feel real to the readers of Candle Beach, too.

Each story will have its own plot, but the series will have an overarching plot that will continue over the course of the series. Each woman will have their own story to tell.

As I write this series, I will tell you what I am doing and my thought process as I do it.

For the month of December, I will be focusing on the planning, the outlining, the character building, and the world building.
